Do the smallest useful thing
Protect the immediate need first, so you have room to decide rather than being forced into a rushed purchase.
A decision companion for situations that won’t sit still
Rheo helps turn a difficult predicament into three practical ways forward: do the smallest useful thing, find something out, or open a pathway.
Rheo does not choose for you. It helps make the next move clearer.
My washing machine has broken. I need something reliable this week, but I don’t want to replace it automatically if repair still makes sense.
Protect the immediate need first, so you have room to decide rather than being forced into a rushed purchase.
Ask the question that will actually decide whether a repair is viable before spending more time comparing options.
Check whether a repair or refurbished route could become a dependable option, rather than assuming “new” is the only stable answer.
Three different jobs. One decision remains yours.
Why Rheo
Ordinary advice often collapses a predicament into a verdict: choose A or B, optimise a score, follow the recommendation.
Real decisions are messier. There is usually an immediate problem to handle, something important you still do not know, and a wider set of conditions that could change what becomes possible next.
Rheo keeps those jobs separate, so a decision can solve what matters now without quietly closing off better routes later.
Protect safety, deadlines, affordability and live options before chasing more speculative gains.
Find the decisive question, test an assumption, or establish a baseline instead of gathering information indefinitely.
Look for small, testable moves that can create new capability, relationships or future choices without overcommitting now.
How it works
Rheo is designed around a short decision loop rather than a questionnaire, score or personality test.
Write the situation in your own words, including the pressures, constraints or trade-offs that matter.
Nearby places or services can be treated as possibilities to check. Location is optional, not a condition of using Rheo.
One acts now, one learns, and one opens a pathway. They are not three phrasings of the same recommendation.
You can choose one of Rheo’s actions, choose something else, or choose not yet. The recommendation is advice; the choice stays explicit.
Built around a different idea of good advice
The name Rheo points to flow: decisions are moves through changing conditions, not final judgements made from a frozen snapshot.
Rheo can reveal routes and consequences. It does not turn a recommendation into a command.
Urgent safety, legality, deadlines, affordability and live options should not be sacrificed for an elegant long-term theory.
A pathway is not “better” if it quietly depends on unpaid labour, coordination, maintenance, subsidy or risk that nobody has named.
Local, cooperative, community or voluntary options are evidence to test, not moral endorsements.
Smaller moves can be tried, observed and revised. That is often more useful than committing early to a grand solution.
Privacy by design
The current alpha is being built without accounts, cloud sync, analytics SDKs, background location or movement history.
If you choose to use local context, location is foreground-only and reduced before it is used. Raw coordinates are not stored in the saved decision session.

Rheo is in active development. The first product is intentionally focused: describe a predicament, optionally add local context, receive three ways forward, make an explicit choice, and save the decision locally.
No social feed. No moral score. No hidden ranking of people. No map of where you have been.
